Today I rip an email that arrived this week from the inbox and respond to it publicly, because I for one am taking no blame whatsoever for what has now became a war of attrition on the streets and social networks of Geelong.
I’m not going to identify the sender of this email. The sender comes across as a decent guy who I have known (online only) since he became a regular at the Geelong Facebook Page which I launched back in 2012.
He deserves his privacy and I respect that.
Here’s what he wrote…
Yeah as I see it…put aside all the intervention orders and assault charges which really are a result of both yours and stupids ongoing obsession with each other…his page is doing well and you are doing exactly what he did to you when you had the Geelong page so really you are as bad as him.I don’t really care much for your blogs cause all they look to me is trash talk that go you and him in the same old predicament you always have..I in no way are taking side with either of you just my observations from the outside..the bigger man would move on but sadly neither of you are or can…
My reply
The standard you walk past is the standard you accept!
To explain that, I offer the following facts first up,
…and that’s only what I’ve published to date, backed by evidence, not blog shittalk.
There’s another 99% of the problem to be shown yet when I find the time. It gets worse yet.
The first casualty of war is truth
I’ll tell you something that is true.
Every time we accept the status quo of poor behavior, we are endorsing it. Hence, the standard you walk past is the standard you accept!
This isn’t about a Facebook page pissing contest. This is about far right wing nutjobs, psychopaths even, hurting kids, hurting women, hurting good people, and a media saying absolutely nothing about it.
This certainly isn’t about trash talking one another either, it’s about one serious problem or problems you’ve accepted as the norm.
I don’t make stuff up for shits and giggles you know, or risk defamation action from a family that has wealth either.
If stalking children, threatening to bomb mosques, accepting a media who helps divide communities as the norm, is all accepted behaviour in the world you want to live in, then you’re part of the problem, so get out of the way while I enlighten you as to the solution.
And the solution is to talk about it, when nobody else will. And that’s why this blog exists, because not only myself, but over 30 of my friends and associates have copped almost 4 years of far more than I’ve said above, and we’re taking it no fucking more.
It’s not a matter of moving on. It’s a matter of fighting back best we can, legally, when we’re silently copping it 24×7 while the media talks football.
You’re welcome to allow fascism to creep in and sit back while wealthy sadistic arseholes take aim at minorities and the defenceless, but don’t dare for a moment blame myself when I’ve tried opening your eyes for over 3 years now while these fascist pigs cry victim as a defence mechanism hoping to cloud reality.
