On April 14, 2011, the Geelong central business district was shut down after a bomb threat that was aimed at the National Australia Bank on Malop Street.
The bomb threat made national headlines and disrupted the innocent people of Geelong for over two and a half hours.
John (his real name is actually Yianni) Emmanuelle Tsorotes was arrested by members of the police Special Operations Group, thrown up against a wall, and handcuffed before being taken into custody where he was interviewed and charged accordingly.
John Tsorotes faced the Geelong Magistrates Court in October of the same year where he was fined $2,000 for making threats to damage property.
Pretty serious shit hey? It gets better yet.
John Tsorotes is also an asbestos dumper, alongside being a petulant bomb threatening big talker.
In August of the same year, John Tsorotes faced the Geelong Magistrates Court again, facing two charges brought by the Environment Protection Authority Victoria as follows,
1. Abandon industrial waste (building and demolition waste and asbestos) at an unlicensed site at Moolap between April 2006 and June 2009, contrary to s.27A(2)(a).
2. Permit to be deposited industrial waste (asbestos) at an unlicensed site at Moolap between April 2006 and January 2009, contrary to s.27A(2)(a).

The Environment Protection Authority Victoria had this to say as background to the offence.
In 2006 , John Tsorotes and a business partner leased a property at 132-160 Point Henry Rd, Geelong. Over the next two years increasing volumes of industrial waste (including building and demolition waste) were accepted on the site and the landowner became increasingly concerned and requested the waste be removed. The site was not licensed to accept industrial waste. EPA attended the premises in 2009 and issued a Clean Up Notice the remaining occupier of the premises, John Tsorotes. Mr Tsorotes did not comply with the Notice.
John Tsorotes was convicted and fined $40,000 after leaving a cleanup bill for the owners of the land in the range of $1.9million.
John Tsorotes clearly thinks Geelong is nothing more than “a playground of the rich and famous“, something he even says himself.
The Tsorotes family is happy to point the finger at others while ignoring their own indiscretions and crimes, and sometimes, as the above video shows, they’ll even out themselves as the law abiding citizens they are NOT!
The above video was obtained after it was posted during 2016 at a Facebook page operated by a member of the Tsorotes family titled Geelong Opinions and Scumbags Exposed.
Members of the Tsorotes family will piss and moan claiming they never had anything to do with the Geelong Opinions and Scumbags Exposed page, but Judicial Registrar Michael Bolte disagreed during a recent hearing at the Geelong Magistrates Court in 2016, finding a member of the Tsorotes family responsible for being involved with the page that spent a hell of a lot of time defaming myself.
(Note: The Geelong Opinions and Scumbags Exposed page was often deleted by Facebook and recreated. You may see different but similar names used in screenshots to refer to that page here).
I could say more about the mother of John Tsorotes, Geelong based pharmacist Stella Tsorotes, who gave a 59-year-old woman an excessive dose of morphine five days before she died, but that’d be really unfair of me wouldn’t it?
Anyway, talking tough at a bank isn’t terrorism, and neither is laughing at a burnout, but threatening to blow up a mosque sure fucking is!
Gotcha Snezana Tsorotes, you potential terrorist! Now what were you saying about myself being a problem for the people of Geelong?
How’d you like that scud eh?
That backyard of yours, check it. There’s potential terrorists in your ranks Geelong.
