The Geelong race hate rally that never was

On the June 30, 2016, an article titled Race-Hate rally planned for Geelong, was published on both the BayFM and KRock websites and authored by Rebecca McDonald.

The article

A race-hate group is planning an anti-islam rally in Geelong.
The Greater Geelong Patriots United group has taken to Facebook to post a notification of a rally planned for July 23.

The page admins, who do not reveal their identity, have posted that their plans will only be available on their own page.

“We will all be in Geelong but big pages drag out the leftie scum,” the post reads.
And it suggests the violence of other rallies across Victoria in recent months are the fault of anti-racism groups.

“All the groups are on board… Just let us rally in peace with out left wing violence.”

Increasing violence at anti-islam rallies has forced police to purchase new protective body armour to protect officers.

It was first rolled out during a protest in Melbourne’s CBD on Sunday.

My analysis

This is a story about nothing. The event never happened. It was never going to happen either.

It’s just an attempt by the Tsorotes family with a pretty piss poor effort at a divide and conquer style drama to play out in Geelong while they sit back watching from their cushy CBD residence.

No race hate rally ever happened. No “groups” were onboard.

But the Tsorotes family fooled the media into giving their lies oxygen didn’t they?

It’s clear BayFM and KRock were tipped off to this event by somebody close to the family (they’ve done it before, I’ll show you that later).

At the time of the article being published the Greater Geelong Patriots United page on Facebook was barely noticeable, with less than 100 likes. It then faded away to the cesspit it crawled out from.

Since this attempt at inciting violence in Geelong failed, the Tsorotes family now spends their days filling Facebook with divisive memes at the Take the piss Geelong page.
